"I have always liked the food at East Japanese, but I think it's too expensive. When I compare what you get here with the same dish in Japan, the price here is horrendous. I understand that everything in Jamaica is overpriced, so I have accepted this. The food is authentic in taste, the the presentation is fine. Service, at best, is okay. Atmosphere is not to my taste because it was too dark and the music too loud. I had my absolute favourite Japanese dish - udon. This was basic (soup, noodles, and grated ginger) with tempura. I enjoyed it, but it was overpriced and not filling. Ordered the karage (fried chicken) curry with rice. This was okay. I have had better for less (in Japan)."
