Hotel Riu Ocho Rios vs Bahia Principe Grand

Advice

If what you are saying about these hotels is so, then these hotels need to step up to the plate and structure their menu to reflect that special taste and flavour of Jamaican food, even if that food is not necessarily of Jamaican origin. The taste and flavour of Jamaican cuisine is loved and appreciated internationally. Where better to showcase that specialness than at our resorts, regardless of the ownership ?

Advice

Agreed. I like couples resorts because they highlight Jamaican food…acki and salt fish…Bambi bread…boiled plantains for breakfast…

I would prefer that. I don’t need a steak. I can have a steak at restaurants in America.

Advice

the beaches in Negril are the best u can find on the entire island. the food, especially the fruits, are pretty good quality - would rate 8/10. im a big fan of jamaican cuisine and was consistently under the influence of the great green herb before each meal πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘Œ

Advice

no there is not, but i believe there is a disco next door at the royalton - where they allow access to guests from RIU. also, there is a big nightclub nearby off of the resort popular to traveller’s but a solo mission there is not recommended πŸ˜…

Advice

If you have been to one, you have been to all, as my co-worker would say whenever I ask about his experience at an all-inclusive resort. Both are huge Spanish resorts, so don’t expect to experience a strong representation of the locals. Activities standard, food ok service ok. Entertainment mostly Spanish theme based on my experience. Whatever you choose, there is not much of a difference.
