At the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF), we aim to promote a lucrative Agribusiness sector that drives productivity and job creation for all regardless of sex, age, socioeconomic status, or ability. We also regulate towards a modern and efficient agricultural sector. To support our mission, vision, and mandates, our agencies and departments include Agro-Invest Corporation, Coconut Industry Board, Jamaica 4-H Clubs, Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA), Jamaica Agricultural Society, and Jamaica Veterinary Board (JVB). National Irrigation Commission Ltd., SCJ Holdings Limited, Sugar Industry Authority, The Banana Board, and Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) are also among our agencies. Our Ministry is responsible for driving the production of primary agricultural produce along all the stages of the supply chain and facilitating the full commercialization of outputs of the agriculture, manufacturing, and service sectors.
