Dr. Christopher Mais is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, who was born in Savanna-la-Mar. He was educated at Knox College in Spaldings, Clarendon. Dr. Mais continued his education in London (UK) and Aarhus in Denmark. He studied medicine at Aarhus University in Denmark and graduated in 1980. He is an Orthopaedic specialist with Consultant Grade accreditation from Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Dr. Mais formerly served as the Head of Joint Replacement Surgery at Forde Central Hospital in Norway from 1996 to 2008. He also served as the head of trauma services at the same hospital. He has practiced as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Jamaica under the auspices of the Medical Council of Jamaica since 2014 and is a member of the Jamaican Orthopaedic Association.
