In September 1986 the Portsmouth community welcomed the opening of the Portsmouth Primary School. Since then, we have striven to cultivate a culture of excellence for our staff and student body. Technologically driven we aim to create a safe and secure environment that is aesthetically pleasing. Our goal is to ensure our students leave us skilled, capable and well-balanced able to engage in society conscientiously and intellectually. We ensure that with a co-education enrolment of 923 students, our student body engages in academic and extracurricular activities that are stimulating. And, our well-trained teachers preside over grades one through six. Our school boasts an excellent attendance rate of over 90% and has been recognised by the Regional Office on more than one occasion.
